
The client needed a custom AirTag holder for dog collars that could survive real outdoor use while remaining compact, secure, and easy to assemble at scale.
Early references existed, but the product required a ground-up mechanical design to ensure proper silicone retention, screw alignment, and reliable assembly using off-the-shelf hardware.
I designed the full product architecture, including:
The design was iterated live with the client through multiple revisions, balancing durability, manufacturability, and user assembly experience.
Final deliverables included STEP and STL files, ready for prototyping and supplier handoff.
The final design resulted in a compact, rugged AirTag holder that securely protects the device while remaining comfortable for dogs during everyday use.
