Starting Point

• Concept described through messages and rough ideas

• No CAD, no defined mechanism

• Multiple measurements needed from one wearable product

• Required to look and feel like real sunglasses

My Contribution

I designed a compact mechanical system that allows three independent measurements to be adjusted intuitively while worn.

• Synchronized frame width adjustment

• Independent sliding lenses for bridge measurement

• Stepless adjustable temples

• Measurement indicators integrated into the hardware

• Design optimized for prototyping and mass production

Final Outcome

• Fully functional adjustable sunglasses measurement device

• Accurate measurement of all key dimensions

• Comfortable, wearable form factor

• Ready for prototyping and manufacturing

Proof & Status
